Cocerts at St Andrew's church Bedford (June 2017)

GUY JOHNSTON, cello and JOSEPH MIDDLETON, piano - SATURDAY 3 JUNE at 7.30 pm.

We are delighted to announce that our season of concerts at St. Andrew’'s continues in June with the cellist Guy Johnston – a former BBC Young Musician of the Year, and the 'outstanding accompanist' Joseph Middleton. Acclaimed internationally as an 'impeccable soloist' and chamber musician, Guy Johnston has performed at the BBC Proms and all over the world and has also recorded widely. (Unfortunately Amy Harman is unable to perform for us on this date as was previously advertised.)
Tickets from the Church Centre Office:

Adults £10, Concessions £8, Students (16-21) £4, Children (under 16) accompanied by a paying adult: free.

Dear Concertgoers

We thought you would like to know the programme for our concert on 3rd June (poster attached), when the distinguished cellist Guy Johnston will be joined by Joseph Middleton, piano. Guy Johnston, acclaimed internationally as an ‘impeccable soloist’ and chamber musician, has performed at the BBC Proms and all over the world, and has also recorded widely. And earlier this month Joseph Middleton became the first accompanist to win the Young Artist Award at the Royal Philharmonic Society Awards – the highest recognition for live classical music-making in the United Kingdom.

In a varied programme they will be playing:

Beethoven, Bei Männern Variations
Brahms, E Minor Sonata
Sibelius, Op. 77 Cantique and Devotion
Prokofiev, Sonata.

We do hope you will be able to come. Tickets are available as usual from the Church Centre Office (01234 216881) in person, or e-mail Adults £10, concessions £8, students (16-21) £4, children (under 16) free when accompanied by a paying adult.
